DMCA & Content Takedown Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
FRLMods hosts content submitted by its community. We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to valid takedown requests, in the spirit of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws.
Filing a takedown request
Email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA Takedown Request" and include:
(1) identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; (2) the exact URL(s) on frlmods.com of the material you want removed; (3) your name, organization, and contact details; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on their behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We review complete notices promptly — normally within a few business days. If the notice is valid, the content is removed or disabled, and the uploader is notified with a copy of the complaint. Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including the removed URLs, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was an error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. We may restore the content if the original complainant does not pursue the matter.
Non-copyright complaints
For trademark issues, impersonation, privacy concerns, or community-rule violations, use the in-site report buttons or the Contact page.
