Toyota Mark II 2.5 Grande 1998 (JZX100) Reshade

The 1998 Toyota Mark II Grande 2.5 (JZX100) is a rear-wheel-drive sports sedan renowned for its legendary naturally aspirated 1JZ-GE inline-six engine, producing approximately 200 hp. Unlike its turbocharged "Tourer V" sibling, the Grande trim focuses on a more luxurious, comfortable, and classic aesthetic. It is a cult classic within JDM car culture, highly prized both for its incredible mechanical reliability and as a platform for tuning and drifting projects.  This clean, minimalist replica aims to faithfully recreate the car's stock appearance using Reshade. As shown in the images, the build focuses on adding realistic details via decal layers—such as the official Toyota badges on the trunk. The exterior is finished with realistic lighting effects (shadows and reflections), authentic stock headlights, and the classic chrome trim running along the sides of the body.

Toyota Chaser Tourer V 1998 (JZX100) Reshade

The Toyota Chaser JZX100 is an iconic JDM RWD sports sedan, produced from 1996 to 2001 and a legend in drifting and tuning. The celebrated Tourer V version is powered by the 2.5-liter 1JZ-GTE single-turbocharged inline-6 engine with VVT-i, a robust powerplant capable of unleashing impressive power when tuned. Despite the factory-set 280 hp limit imposed by the agreement between the Japanese manufacturers, the car delivers exceptional performance thanks in part to the available R154 manual transmission and a refined chassis with double wishbone suspension. Its timeless three-box design combines the elegance and practicality of a four-door road car with the driving dynamics and poise of a true sports car. This livery for the Toyota Chaser relies on the "Reshade" philosophy, completely eschewing complex graphics, decals, or sponsorships to instead highlight the shadows and purity of the car's original lines and elements. At the front, contrast is provided by the black central grille with the Chaser emblem, the stock transparent split headlights with amber-orange turn signals, and a color-matched lower lip on the bumper that lowers the visual stance. The side profile maintains maximum cleanliness with fully color-matched doors, handles, and mirrors, slightly tinted windows framed by a black border, and integrated side skirts inspired by the Aoshima model of the same car that accentuate the car's closeness to the ground. The rear is characterized by large, geometric red and white headlights, echoing the original Chaser headlight layout.
