The E36 joined the game in the v0.3.7 update as the twenty-second car, based on the 1991–1992 BMW E36 325i. It runs the 50 straight-six stock and, with a J swap and turbo, reaches the usual 717 hp. At the time of the source wiki it was the most recently added car in the game.

Trivia

  • It has the most detailed interior of any car in the game, and its stock steering wheel has the highest polygon count of any wheel in the game.
  • Stock it makes 290 hp — roughly M3 power — even though the real 325i only made around 190 hp.
  • When it launched in v0.3.7 its rear axle sat slightly misaligned in the wheel well; this was fixed in v0.3.8.
  • It's one of three cars with a fixed instrument cluster (alongside the FD3S and KPGC).
