The J is the most powerful engine you can build through normal play, reaching the game's famous 717 hp ceiling when fully upgraded with a turbo kit. It's a straight-six based on the real-world Toyota 1JZ, and it's the universal swap — the engine almost every non-rotary, non-capped car uses to hit max power.

Trivia
- The J's real-world counterpart is the Toyota 1JZ.
- In the Miata, the J's 3D model is uniquely shrunk down to fit the tiny engine bay.
